The Second Mrs. Hockaday by Susan Rivers grabbed me within the first chapter. Written entirely in letters and journals, Rivers reveals information to the reader in such a way that I couldn’t put it down. I wanted to read it straight through. I devoured it! Compelling characters, exciting plot, and excellent writing!
