As I mentioned a few months ago, I am reading the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, which starts with Guilty Pleasures. Onto a short story: The Girl Who Was Infatuated with Death! Each week, I’ll be bringing you two posts: a review of the book and a related kinky post. This is my review of the book post! For those who are new to my blog, you don’t need to read the books to read the kinky stories on Fridays, and of course, you’re welcome to check out my reviews on Sundays!

Non-spoilery Review:
It was definitely a short story! A quick read, but in the best sense. It was a full story that was a nice inclusion to the Anitaverse. It was originally on the list of books in the wrong place (according to the intro written for each story in Strange Candy, which was a book Richard already owned, so I didn’t have to go searching for it. I think I’ll definitely go back and read all the other short stories in Strange Candy, but for now, I’m moving on to the next novel.
I’m not 100% sure that this story actually fits in where it’s supposed to, especially now that I’ve just started reading Narcissus in Chains and seeing where the story picks up. But it’s a good story nonetheless. Definitely recommended!
Here is the link to my very rough notes about this part of the book, including notes on characters and plot. It’s mostly for me, but if you had read it in the past and just need a refresher, it would suffice, though it doesn’t read nicely!
