You don’t need to have read any Laurell K. Hamilton to follow this story! It’s just a fun one written about a girl, slightly older than the one in this story and losing her virginity.

The Girl Who Was Infatuated with Death

Non-spoilery Review:

It was definitely a short story! A quick read, but in the best sense. It was a full story that was a nice inclusion to the Anitaverse. It was originally on the list of books in the wrong place (according to the intro written for each story in Strange Candy, which was a book Richard already owned, so I didn’t have to go searching for it. I think I’ll definitely go back and read all the other short stories in Strange Candy, but for now, I’m moving on to the next novel.

I’m not 100% sure that this story actually fits in where it’s supposed to, especially now that I’ve just started reading Narcissus in Chains and seeing where the story picks up. But it’s a good story nonetheless. Definitely recommended!
