My Master takes care of everything for me and the stranger, and then we’re through the next doorway. The music pounds in my ears, even though I couldn’t hear it at all from outside. Master directs us into a private room, and once the door shuts, the music is much lessened.

“Now,” Master says, “put on a show for us, pet.” The two men sit down on the couch, leaving me standing alone in the middle of the room. My pussy clenches and I look at them. Oh it’s so good. So, so good. I won’t spoil the ending here, but man! It’s a good one. Lots of action, suspense, and thrill, but also major character development. I sometimes question why Anita isn’t as open to some things relationship-wise that I think she should be (or that I would be), but then again, I’ve never even held a gun, so what do I know about Anita’s life?

#8 Blue Moon Part 1 (Ch 1-27)

Dreams. We all have them. But have you ever had a dream so sexy that it woke you up mid-orgasm? Another knock it out of the park start! I’m desperate to know what happens next. There’s so much action going on, so many storylines. And somehow, even though Anita is away for Jean Claude almost entirely this half of the book, he still plays a major role. Can’t wait to read more!

Another great one! It’s kind of amazing how this one wraps up. It’s a bit crazy, to be honest. I think the fire aspects of this book make it a really scary situation. I don’t even know what to say anymore about this book without giving things away. But what I will say (since I’ve actually read beyond it already when I wrote this review) is that some of the aspects and themes of this book are going to come up again, so make sure to read this one!

#7 Burnt Offerings Part 1 (Ch 1-27)

I would like to explore some public sex in this little snippet. In this book (and if I recall correctly, it becomes more of a focus in later books), sex with an audience becomes prominent. It’s interesting, breaking this book in half, that the beginning and the middle have nothing to do with each other. The opening scene has barely been mentioned in the subsequent 175 pages. But I’m still interested in it, and there has been a lot of plot happening and character development that I’m definitely interested in seeing where it’s going!

I’m reading about 175 pages a week. Each week, I’ll be bringing you two posts: a review of the book and a related kinky post. This is a related sexy story!

Bathtubs are a great feature in many stories, and this one is no exception. Here is a reimagined scene with a bathtub:

He lights a candle and turns the harsh overhead lights off. The flickering candle makes the room feel warm and cozy as she slips into the tub of hot water. It’s peaceful in the warm water. Their relationship is complicated. On one hand, she feels like she should feel comfortable being naked in front of him, but she isn’t. She isn’t comfortable being naked in front of anyone. But she is glad that he is so respectful. She feels lucky that she has him, even if she is still keeping him at arm’s length.

The Killing Dance Part 2 (Ch 19-end)

Holy shit. So much happens in this book, especially this half. There are a lot of themes that will carry through into future books, so make sure you pay attention when reading this half, for sure! So many details!

I was happy that I didn’t feel like the end of the book moved too quickly like I did in the previous book. There was a lot of action, a lot of explanation, tying up loose ends, and then the (almost required) short and quick what-happens-next, but it felt well-paced.

The Killing Dance Part 1 (Ch 1-18)

In The Killing Dance, there is a scene about sleeping in bed with someone but not having sex. So here’s a short snippet from my current WIP. If you want to know more, stick around!

“Oh goodness,” I can’t help but think as I look at myself in the bathroom mirror. I am afraid that I’m not attractive enough, that I’m not wearing the right pajamas, that he’s going to reject me. I don’t know why he would reject me when we’ve come this far, but it’s what I fear anyway. And besides, why would I care if he rejected me? Wasn’t that what I wanted anyway? I hadn’t chosen this life. I had been chosen, and now I was stuck. So if he rejected me, wouldn’t that be a good thing?

Maybe. But then again, I’d probably be sent off into a worse situation if he rejected me. I need to breathe and hope that I’m enough. I just have to please him. 

I walk out of the bathroom, and he’s laying on the bed in a pair of shorts, his chest bare. There’s a smattering of chest hair there that I can’t help but find attractive. I want to know what it feels like to touch it. I’m pretty sure it’s dangerous to touch him without being invited. Better to wait and see what he does.

Spending the night in his arms, afraid, but warm and dry and safe? Maybe safe. I don’t know. But I’ll take it, and maybe even enjoy it. Just for tonight.
