December 4 question – Do you write cliffhangers at the end of your stories? Are they a turn-off to you as a writer and/or a reader?

Jayden: Absolutely! I try to end chapters on cliffhangers, and definitely blog posts. I want my readers coming back for more. As a reader, if there’s a good cliffhanger, I’m going to just keep reading, which is the best case scenario.

Richard: I’m a big cliffhanger fan. They were actually the original topic of my Master’s thesis (though it broadened a little bit by the end). The most important thing to remember is to make sure the energy flows through the cliffhanger. The cliff should be at or near peak tension, but it needs to release in an exciting way after the chapter (or whatever) break.

A “fake” cliffhanger (someone is about to die! but it’s resolved by the second paragraph of the next page) is just a depressing tease for the reader. “I started another chapter for this?” Even worse is the overly delayed resolution (someone is about to die! and we won’t even see them again for three or four chapters), which diffuses the tension of the initial cliffhanger, and tends to undersell when it finally comes back– how much danger could they really have been in if it took 100 pages to get there?

TMI Tuesday: December 3rd

The author of TMI Tuesday has decided to end her reign, but we have decided to continue on, going back to the archives. We’re going to continue with 2013, and now we’re back on the same date, even (except we’re more than a few weeks behind. Oof.)! So here we are with an archived set of questions.

What we do for sex…

sex craze tmi art

1. Why do you like sexting or virtual sex (chatting, skype, etc.)?

Jayden: It’s a great way to get the mind engaged in sexual activity.

Richard: You can do things that’re impractical in real life.

2. When you’re about to “get busy”…get down & dirty, you know have sex, do you like to be undressed by your lover or take off all your clothes by yourself?

Jayden: I like to take off all my clothes and hide under the covers. Usually we have snuggles before sex.

Richard: I like being undressed.

3. What is the most desperate thing you’ve done for sex?

Jayden: Had an affair (with Richard)

Richard: Drove like three states, got a hotel room, and got catfished.

4. Libido booster drugs for women (viagra for women) will hit the market soon. Are you interested in trying them? Will you take the new drug(s)? Why or why not?
(If you are a man, would you like for your female lover to take such a drug?)

Jayden: I don’t need them. My sex drive is already high.

Richard: Maybe when we’re older if we need them.

Bonus: If it were legal in your country/community to visit a “sex box” would you? The blog has been removed, but the link said “drive-thru-brothel” so that probably tells us enough…

Jayden: I’m sure I’d check it out, but I don’t think I would pay for sex.

Richard: I think I’d rather a regular brothel. It seems more practical and sanitary.

Burnt Offerings – Part 1 Sexy Story

As I mentioned a few months ago, I am reading the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, which starts with Guilty Pleasures. Onto book 7: Burnt Offerings! I’m reading about 175 pages a week. Each week, I’ll be bringing you two posts: a review of the book and a related kinky post. This is my sexy story post!

#7 Burnt Offerings Part 1 (Ch 1-27)

I would like to explore some public sex in this little snippet. In this book (and if I recall correctly, it becomes more of a focus in later books), sex with an audience becomes prominent. But Anita is shy, for sure. Check out this character, who is also a little shy about having sex in front of others.

“No, no, no, no,” I keep murmuring, but he isn’t going to give me a choice. I know he won’t, but I want him to. I think. Maybe I don’t want him to. Maybe I like that he’s not giving me a choice.

Whether I like it or not, I’m still stuck with it. He’s got a collar locked around my neck with a leash attached, and he’s walking right out the front door. I don’t want to be walked down the street in a leash and collar, but at least he let me wear my thong and a sexy little sheer dress. I’m not naked. Oh, and heels. He let me wear heels. But damn, do my feet hurt. I wonder if he wants me to crawl. (Probably, he wants me to crawl.) But for now, I’m walking.

Even without heels on, I’m not sure I could resist his pull, but with heels on, I have no prayer. So I step out onto the sidewalk behind him. The screen door slams shut behind me, and the slam echoes in the dark night. I glance around, trying to see if anyone is peering out of their windows, but it’s the middle of the night, and there aren’t any faces peering out of the windows. At least, not that I can see.

He walks me down the street, and my heart is pounding in my throat. I am terrified. He takes me down an alley, which makes me feel slightly more comfortable, and then into a cemetery. A cemetery! What are we doing here? At night? At least there won’t be any people. I hope.

He pushes me up against a headstone so that I’m leaned over with my ass a little bit in the air. He slips a blindfold over my eyes and whispers, “Don’t move.”

I don’t know where I would go anyway. The ground is too soft for me to run in my heels. I lean there, straining to hear what is going on around me, and I hear footsteps. It must be him. But then there are more footsteps, and more, echoing all around me. It’s two people, three people, I can’t tell how many now. And there I am, wearing just a blindfold, heels, a thong, and a sheer dress. Fucking hell. But my cunt is wet with desire. And when I say wet, I mean dripping wet. I want someone to touch me. I don’t want to admit it, but I love being on display.

After what feels like forever, I get my wish. Someone’s hands are on me, touching me softly on my hip. Another hand touches my arm. Another caresses my neck. I don’t know who’s touching me, but it feels amazing. I want more. I want the touches to be hard, not soft. I want to feel more than the soft warmth.

What do you think? Do you want to know what happens next? Maybe I’ll share some more next week, even though Anita would never actually want this to be her (or maybe won’t admit it?). There’s still a lot of series to go!

Hope you enjoy this foray into the world of Anita Blake! What else are you reading? Come back Sunday for my review of the second half of the book!

More questions submitted by TMI Tuesday players, on June 16, as a response to that week’s bonus question. Thank you again! This week is all about Taboo, tickles, and fantasy.

taboo_fantasy_tmi_graphic

From http://propertyofpotter.com :
1. What strange areas of your body are ticklish?

Jayden: Everywhere, and I mean everywhere, is ticklish.

Richard: My lips are ticklish, and sometimes I tickle them when I make kissy noises.

From https://scarletrosevixen.wordpress.com :
2. What is something you are interested in sexually, but only on a purely fantasy level? Something that you think about but could never fully act on.

Jayden: Sex with anonymous strangers. (If STDs and unintentional pregnancies didn’t exist, I might be willing.)

Richard: Elaborate gaslighting/brainwashing/hostage scenario.

From http://truepleasuresreviews.com :
3. If you could have a week of the best sex ever in human history but you had to have a fish head as your head for the rest of your life, after that week, would you do it?

From http://sexualitysanctuary.blogspot.ca :
Jayden: Nope. Sex is good, but not that good, even best in the world.

Richard: Can I pick the kind of fish? It might be worth it if I could have like a sword head or a lantern or something.

4. What do you consider taboo and have you ever ventured into this territory? Was it a great, good, bad or horrific experience?

From http://www.shadowedseductress.com :
Jayden: Golden Showers, and I love it.

Richard: Scat. Not on purpose. Not as terrible as I thought.

5. What part of your body do you consider the most unusual that you enjoy being stimulated?

Jayden: I like it when Richard’s dick hits my uterus.

Richard: (I don’t know if the back of your vagina technically counts as uterus.) I like having my forehead rubbed.

Bonus:
From http://herprivateisland.com :
If you could make a porn film/video with any celebrity, who would it be and why?

Jayden: Jeff Goldblum. It would make Richard very excited.

Richard: JEFF GOLDBLUM THREESOME!

Burnt Offerings – Part 1

As I mentioned a few months ago, I am reading the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, which starts with Guilty Pleasures. Onto book 7: Burnt Offerings! I’m reading about 175 pages a week. Each week, I’ll be bringing you two posts: a review of the book and a related kinky post. This is my review of the book post!

Description from Goodreads: “You can’t trust anyone who sleeps with the monsters.”

That’s what I’ve always said. That’s what I’ve always believed. But now I’m the one sharing a bed with the Master Vampire of the City. Me, Anita Blake. The woman the vampires call the Executioner. From part of the solution, I’ve become part of the problem. So it hits close to home when an arsonist begins to target vampire-owned businesses all over town — an arsonist who seems to want to destroy more than just property. It’s the monsters who are in danger now. And it’s up the the Executioner to save them from the inferno…

#7 Burnt Offerings Part 1 (Ch 1-27)

Non-spoilery Review:

It’s interesting, breaking this book in half, that the beginning and the middle have nothing to do with each other. The opening scene has barely been mentioned in the subsequent 175 pages. But I’m still interested in it, and there has been a lot of plot happening and character development that I’m definitely interested in seeing where it’s going!

Here is the link to my very rough notes about this part of the book, including notes on characters and plot. It’s mostly for me, but if you had read it in the past and just need a refresher, it would suffice, though it doesn’t read nicely!

Hope you enjoy this foray into the world of Anita Blake! What else are you reading? Come back later this week for some kinky musings!

The Killing Dance – Part 2 Sexy Story

As I mentioned more than a month ago, I am reading the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, which starts with Guilty Pleasures. Onto book 6: The Killing Dance! I’m reading about 175 pages a week. Each week, I’ll be bringing you two posts: a review of the book and a related kinky post. This is a related sexy story!

Bathtubs are a great feature in many stories, and this one is no exception. Here is a reimagined scene with a bathtub:

He lights a candle and turns the harsh overhead lights off. The flickering candle makes the room feel warm and cozy as she slips into the tub of hot water. It’s peaceful in the warm water. She sinks back into the water and listens for the sounds of him walking away, but they don’t come. Her eyes flutter back open, and she sees him standing there, watching her.

“Yes?” she asks, her voice steady.

“I just like watching you.”

She’s self-conscious then, worrying about what he’s thinking.

“You’re beautiful.”

“I don’t want you to touch me.”

“Don’t worry. I know. I won’t.”

But he doesn’t leave. He stands there, watching her still.

She tries to pretend like it doesn’t bother her. She lets her eyes close, though her ears are hyperaware of him.

And finally, gratefully, she hears his footsteps as he retreats from the bathroom and closes the door behind himself.

Their relationship is complicated. On one hand, she feels like she should feel comfortable being naked in front of him, but she isn’t. She isn’t comfortable being naked in front of anyone. But she is glad that he is so respectful. She feels lucky that she has him, even if she is still keeping him at arm’s length.

Hope you enjoy this foray into the world of Anita Blake! What else are you reading? Come back next week for the next novel!

The Killing Dance – Part 2

As I mentioned more than a month ago, I am reading the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, which starts with Guilty Pleasures. Onto book 6: The Killing Dance! I’m reading about 175 pages a week. Each week, I’ll be bringing you two posts: a review of the book and a related kinky post. This is my review of the book post!

Description from Amazon: In The Killing Dance, vampire hunter Anita Blake finds herself the victim when a $500,000 price is put on her head, and the two men in her life – a vampire and a werewolf – aren’t helping the situation.

The Killing Dance Part 2 (Ch 19-end)

Holy shit. So much happens in this book, especially this half. There are a lot of themes that will carry through into future books, so make sure you pay attention when reading this half, for sure! So many details!

I was happy that I didn’t feel like the end of the book moved too quickly like I did in the previous book. There was a lot of action, a lot of explanation, tying up loose ends, and then the (almost required) short and quick what-happens-next, but it felt well-paced.

Here is the link to my very rough notes about this part of the book, including notes on characters and plot. It’s mostly for me, but if you had read it in the past and just need a refresher, it would suffice, though it doesn’t read nicely!

The Killing Dance – Part 1 Sexy Story

As I mentioned more than a month ago, I am reading the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, which starts with Guilty Pleasures. Onto book 6: The Killing Dance! I’m reading about 175 pages a week. Each week, I’ll be bringing you two posts: a review of the book and a related kinky post. This is my short sexy story!

Description from Amazon: In The Killing Dance, vampire hunter Anita Blake finds herself the victim when a $500,000 price is put on her head, and the two men in her life – a vampire and a werewolf – aren’t helping the situation.

The Killing Dance Part 1 (Ch 1-18)

In The Killing Dance, there is a scene about sleeping in bed with someone but not having sex. So here’s a short snippet from my current WIP. If you want to know more, stick around!

“Oh goodness,” I can’t help but think as I look at myself in the bathroom mirror. I am afraid that I’m not attractive enough, that I’m not wearing the right pajamas, that he’s going to reject me. I don’t know why he would reject me when we’ve come this far, but it’s what I fear anyway. And besides, why would I care if he rejected me? Wasn’t that what I wanted anyway? I hadn’t chosen this life. I had been chosen, and now I was stuck. So if he rejected me, wouldn’t that be a good thing?

Maybe. But then again, I’d probably be sent off into a worse situation if he rejected me. I need to breathe and hope that I’m enough. I just have to please him.

I walk out of the bathroom, and he’s laying on the bed in a pair of shorts, his chest bare. There’s a smattering of chest hair there that I can’t help but find attractive. I want to know what it feels like to touch it. I’m pretty sure it’s dangerous to touch him without being invited. Better to wait and see what he does.

“Hello, beautiful girl,” he says, and he pats the bed next to him.

God I hate being treated like a child. I think. Maybe I don’t hate it. Maybe I want to curl up in his arms and pretend the world is all okay. But it’s not okay. I climb onto the bed on the opposite side from him, keeping my distance.

“It’s okay,” he soothes, “I’m not going to hurt you tonight.”

That last word makes me shiver. Fear? Anticipation? Disgust? (Okay, not the last one.)

He reaches out a hand to touch me and goosebumps erupt on my arm where his fingers brush against my skin. “Come to me, beautiful girl. I want to hold you.”

He switches off the bedside light, plunging the room into darkness, as I scoot over and let him wrap me up in his arms. He holds me there in the dark, and I think it’s probably been hours. He falls asleep almost immediately, the soft sounds of his breath soothing in the dark. Is this what it will always be like? No, it can’t be. But it’s nice. Spending the night in his arms, afraid, but warm and dry and safe? Maybe safe. I don’t know. But I’ll take it, and maybe even enjoy it. Just for tonight.

Hope you enjoy this foray into the world of Anita Blake! What else are you reading? Come back Sunday for the second part of the book!

TMI Tuesday: September 10, 2013

Posted on September 9, 2013 by TMI Tuesday blog

The following unique and wacky TMI Tuesday questions were submitted by TMI Tuesday players, on June 16, as a response to that week’s bonus question. Thank you to all who participated.

Lovers, partners, exes, and …Betty White? A strange mix.

3bears

http://thepassioncouple.com
1. Tell us something kinky that you refused to do with a partner (ex or present) but secretly wish you had done.

Jayden: Refuse? What’s refuse?

Richard: I refused the first time someone offered me oral. In hindsight, it seems kind of silly.

http://aluv-sincerelyyours.blogspot.com/
2. Pick your top three lovers and explain why you picked them!

Jayden: Richard (obviously). After that, I don’t know. I’ve had some bad luck with partners. I guess my ex-husband. We were together (and happy) a long time before things went south.

Richard: Jayden, for her dedication. S for their asshole. K for actually still being my friend even though we don’t fuck anymore.

http://thesindoll.com/
3. Where on your body would you get your ex’s name inked on your body if you had to?

Jayden: My back, probably. Fold it into the tattoo I already have.

Richard: I’ll get K tattooed on a knuckle and then an O on another. Then I can pretend to punch people out. Or just be a very aggressive OKer.

https://imnotanastasia.wordpress.com
4. Would you rather have sex on a Ferris Wheel or the bumper cars?

Jayden: Ferris wheel. Hot.

Richard: Yeah, better view.

http://bilikesscifi.com/
5. Men: Have you ever tracked a friend’s or partner’s periods for the purpose of treating them different during that time? Women: How would you feel if a partner did this?

Jayden: That would be weird. Maybe hot in a control-type way (because that’s something I like!)

Richard: It’s a mostly effective means of free birth control for a young, stupid person.

Bonus:
https://filledandfooled.wordpress.com
Would you rather eat a white crayon or go down on Betty White?

Jayden: Eat a white crayon. They’re just wax.

Richard: I’d go down on Betty White. What a great story!

The Killing Dance – Part 1

As I mentioned more than a month ago, I am reading the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, which starts with Guilty Pleasures. Onto book 6: The Killing Dance! The Killing Dance Part 1 (Ch 1-18)

The Killing Dance is probably the most suspenseful Anita Blake book yet. In this first half, there’s a lot of tension (not sexual) that certainly keeps the reader on their toes! But the sexual tension is building, too, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Here is the link to my very rough notes about this part of the book, including notes on characters and plot. It’s mostly for me, but if you had read it in the past and just need a refresher, it would suffice, though it doesn’t read nicely!

Bloody Bones – Part 2 Kinky Musings

As I mentioned more than a month ago, I am reading the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, which starts with Guilty Pleasures. Onto book 5: Bloody Bones! I’m reading about 175 pages a week. Each week, I’ll be bringing you two posts: a review of the book and a related kinky post. This is my kinky musings post!

Description from Good Reads: Hired to exhume two-hundred-year-old graves in the wake of a land dispute, Anita Blake becomes involved in local murders involving three dead teenagers and a bloodless corpse that makes her suspect that an evil force is preying upon the town.

Bloody Bones Part 1 (Ch 19-end)

Bathrooms can be a sexy place, especially when they have lavish bathtubs. In this book, there’s a scene in a lavish bathroom that doesn’t lead to sex. So I thought I would put us in that mindset for a few moments.

I lay in the bathtub, swirling the hot water with my finger, holding my breath so that nothing else disturbs the water. I enjoy watching the ripples spread across the still water. I’m still watching the ripples fade as I hear the door open. He enters with a rush of cool air from the hallway. My nipples harden at the sudden change in temperature.

Neither of us says a word as he sits down on the edge of the tub. One of his hands slides onto my shoulder, protruding from the water. A shiver runs down my spine. I have a vision in my mind of him stripping out of his clothes and climbing into the bathtub with me. I can almost feel his body pressed against mine in the hot water. But he’s not living out my fantasy. He’s just sitting next to me, gently stroking my bare skin.

I am getting increasingly frustrated. I want him to touch me. I want to touch him. He’s barely even doing anything, and it’s driving me wild.

Hope you enjoy this foray into the world of Anita Blake! What else are you reading? Come back next week for the next book: The Killing Dance!

TMI Tuesday: November 5th

The author of TMI Tuesday has decided to end her reign, but we have decided to continue on, going back to the archives. We’re going to continue with 2013, and now we’re back on the same date, even (except we’re more than a few weeks behind. Oof.)! So here we are with an archived set of questions.

Do you wanna ride?

Today’s TMI Tuesday is all about your ride–your car, your moto, your bike–your regular mode of transport, and of course sex 😉

mercedes_tmiWatch video: Pebbles – mercedes boy

1. What type of vehicle do you use regularly? Truck, car, bike, etc.

Jayden: Car, an SUV to be exact.

Richard: Car, wikipedia tells me it’s a crossover SUV (I think it’s more of a boxy station wagon.)

2. Do you use public transportation–bus, train, metro/subway, cab? How often?

Jayden: No because the public transit in this town sucks! I miss living in a city.

Richard: I MISS TRAINS!

3. Have you ever had sex in/on public transportation? Tell us about it?

Jayden: No, just cyber/writing smut.

Richard: No. That sounds impractical.

4. I know most of you have had sex in a car or truck, but how many times have you had sex in your present vehicle?

Jayden: 0, it’s relatively new and we own a house, so like, not super necessary to have sex in the car.

Richard: Also 0! (I think I’ve only done it once or twice total in any car.)

5. When was the last time you had sex in a car or truck-type vehicle? Was it with a known person or a stranger?

Jayden: I don’t remember, but it was with a known person. Stranger sex is hot but impractical.

Richard: It was the girl I was dating, like 15 years ago.

6. Have you ever had sex on a bicycle or motorcycle?

Jayden: Nope.

Richard: No.

7. Stick shift or manual? Why?

Jayden: Is there a difference?

Richard: I assume this is a British question.

8. Ever had sex on the hood of a car? (Hood = The part of a car that covers the engine and that can be raised. The British word is bonnet.)

Jayden: Nope.

Richard: I’ve had aggressive makeouts.

Bonus: You are walking down the street. A very sexy and nude person (gender of your choice) pulls up next to you in their shiny new Mercedes Benz, they lower the window and say, “Do you want to ride in my Mercedes?” What do you do? Tell us what you want to do on that ride?

Jayden: In fantasy, totally! Hop in! But in reality, I wouldn’t dare.

Richard: I don’t think I would even in fantasy. That is a lame pickup.

Bonus, bonus: What is the sexiest thing you have ever done in a vehicle?

Jayden: I masturbated in a gas station parking lot (don’t worry – it was the middle of the night and I picked a dark corner).

Richard: I’ve gotten blow jobs in a car a couple times.

Bloody Bones Part 1 (Ch 19-end)

As always, I love every book in this series. In this one, as I got to the end, I wished that she had slowed down the last ~30 pages or so. It went so quickly, and so much happened. I wanted to know more about the relationships between the fae and the vampires and what was going on there. Still, a solid novel!

Bloody Bones – Part 1 Kinky Musings

As I mentioned more than a month ago, I am reading the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, which starts with Guilty Pleasures. Onto book 5: Bloody Bones! I’m reading about 175 pages a week. Each week, I’ll be bringing you two posts: a review of the book and a related kinky post. This is my review of the book post!

Description from Good Reads: Hired to exhume two-hundred-year-old graves in the wake of a land dispute, Anita Blake becomes involved in local murders involving three dead teenagers and a bloodless corpse that makes her suspect that an evil force is preying upon the town.

Bloody Bones Part 1 (Ch 1-18)

There’s talk about where everyone is going to sleep. Anita doesn’t want to share a bed with Jean-Claude, even though he assures her that he won’t be able to wake up and do anything because it will be daylight. Let’s hear a little true story about a different time in my life.

I know that you aren’t supposed to take a bus across the state to meet a stranger from the internet without telling anyone where you’re going, but…here I am. I don’t know what possessed me to do it. I guess it was the whole event. A movie premiere! My friend from the internet (please realize that in 2005, this was a BIG deal) got tickets to see a movie I’ve been dying to see. He works at a game store, and the store rented out the whole screen at the theater so we could all go. So off I went!

The evening was magical. There was no spark with my friend. I had thought there might be, but it was just friendship. But when it came time to finally go to bed after the movie and dinner at the diner, I was very nervous. There were four of us and one bed. So we all piled in—one after the other. I don’t know how we did it. (Ah, the days of college!) But we managed. Nothing happened that night (or any other night after). And all these years later, we still keep in touch.

Hope you enjoy this foray into the world of Anita Blake! What else are you reading? Come back next week for Part 2!

TMI Tuesday: October 29th

The author of TMI Tuesday has decided to end her reign, but we have decided to continue on, going back to the archives. We’re going to continue with 2013, and now we’re back on the same date, even (except we’re more than a few weeks behind. Oof.)! So here we are with an archived set of questions.

The Men of TMI Tuesday

Questions for this week’s TMI Tuesday were submitted by various TMI Tuesday male participants.

1. Advizor: http://advizortoall.blogspot.com
I once overheard in a bathroom, “There is nothing as over-rated as sex or under-rated as a good bowel movement.” Discuss.

Jayden: If the sex is good, then I don’t think it’s overrated. If it’s bad… I’ll take the good BM.

Richard: Bad (or even mediocre) sex is overrated. I’d rather jerk off than have bad sex. A good BM is pretty good, but I think a good piss is even more underrated.

2. the late phoenix: http://thelatephoenix.blogspot.com/
Friendship lasts longer than cumming. which of your online friends that you’ve never met would you like to meet in real life? which do you think you could become life-long REAL friends with? Actual friends, like going out to coffee and movies with, gossiping with, kissing on the forehead, hugging, loving.

Jayden: I have a friend online I’ve had forever, like… over 20 years. But he lives in Alaska. We almost met once in college, but it didn’t pan out. We don’t really talk anymore, but we’re still friends on Facebook and follow each other’s lives. I’d love to meet someday. I think we’d be good friends.

Richard: Am I just putting the names of people I know online? That’s kind of awkward. Umm, Karni. He seems pretty cool. We’ve been internet friends for over a decade at this point. Riley, but he’d never agree to actually meet up.

3. John D Stories: http://www.johndstories.co.uk/
In a parallel universe, who out of your blog or Twitter followers would you most like to spend a steamy evening with? What would you do? Why them?

Jayden: I don’t really know any of my blog or Twitter followers except Richard, so… Richard?

Richard: Can it still be Jayden? Otherwise, I don’t have a ton of followers, or any that I know that well. I used to have a couple stream followers who were like D-list gaming celebrities, so I might fuck Avex for nerd-cred.

4. Virtual Sin: http://virtualsin.wordpress.com/
(multi-part question)
a. What method of stimulation (intercourse, oral, manual, toy, whatever) gives you the strongest orgasm?

Jayden: Manual or toy, definitely. I used to say toy, but Richard’s hands are incredible (as are other parts of him).

Richard: I think vaginal and manual are pretty tied, but I also think I can get super strong ones more reliably manually.
b. With what method of stimulation do you get the most orgasms?

Jayden: Manual.

Richard: Vaginal.
c. If the answer to a is different from the answer to b, what’s wrong with your life?

Jayden: Nothing, thank you very much. 😛

Richard: I like fucking my wife, and don’t think MAXIMUM ORGASM is the only goal of sex.

5. Jon Pressick: http://sex-in-words.blogspot.com
Would you rather have a life where you only had sex once a year for 2 minutes or where you have to have sex, every day for a minimum of 2 hours?

Jayden: See Richard’s answer. It’s good:

Richard: Can we define sex as cybering or something? I’d send Jayden two hours of smut. Maybe I could automate it somehow…

Bloody Bones Part 1 (Ch 1-18)

So much happens in the first half of this book! I guess that’s true for all of these novels. They move so fast! But it’s very good. As usual, I’m riveted and want to get to the end (even on a re-read). Great book so far!

Here is the link to my very rough notes about the first half of the book, including notes on characters and plot. It’s mostly for me, but if you had read it in the past and just need a refresher, it would suffice, though it doesn’t read nicely!

The Lunatic Cafe – Part 2 Kinky Story

As I mentioned more than a month ago, I am reading the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton, which starts with Guilty Pleasures. Onto book 4: The Lunatic Cafe! I’m reading about 175 pages a week. Each week, I’ll be bringing you two posts: a review of the book and a related kinky post. This is my kinky story!

Description from Amazon: Vampire hunter and zombie animator Anita Blake is an expert at sniffing out the bad from the good. But in The Lunatic Cafe-now in trade paperback for the first time-she’s about to learn that nothing is ever as it seems, especially in matters of the not-so-human heart.

Dating a werewolf with self-esteem issues is stressing Anita out. Especially when something-or someone-starts taking out the city’s shapeshifters.

The Lunatic Cafe – Part 2 (Ch 22-end)

It happens a lot throughout the stories, but werewolves (at least in the Anita Blake world) are turned on by blood and fear. I can definitely relate to that. Fear is a huge turn-on for me. And obviously, blood-play is a kink, just not one of my kinks. Do you have a kink that is more on the taboo side of things? Enjoy this little story about fear being a turn-on.

Work starts at 5:30am. It’s too early, but I have to be there to open the gym by 6:00am. And you better believe that if I opened at 6:02, someone would complain to my boss. So I am always early, and I am always unlocking the doors on time. I don’t mind the early mornings, but you know what I do mind? Walking the streets of Boston before the sun rises.

It shouldn’t matter, but it does. I shouldn’t be scared, but I am. And it’s different at this hour of the morning. If I go out late at night, there are always people around. Students sneaking into bars before they turn 21, or maybe just after they’ve reached that milestone. People in their late 20s going out on blind dates. People in their 30s sick of work and needing a drink at the end of the day. I don’t know all of their reasons, but I do know that they are out and about, that they make noise, and they provide witnesses for the woman walking alone on the dark streets. I don’t want to bank on it protecting me, but it definitely does make me feel more comfortable.

But at 5:15, before the sun rises, there aren’t any college students wandering the streets. No one is going home after a long day at work. When I get on the train in five minutes, it will be me and a few other sleepy people heading off to work for the day. There might even be a few night-shift people heading home. But no one is peppy, loud, chatty. That part is nice. And with a train operator, I feel reasonably comfortable that no one is going to grab me and take me off to rape me.

But before I get to the train, I have to walk five minutes down the road. I cross the street, go down a set of dark stairs, down an alley, and out to the end of the block where the train station sits. On this particular morning, as I cross the street right near the top of the stairs, there’s a car. It’s just sitting there with its headlights on, illuminating the street. There are no interior lights on. I can’t see anything inside.

There are a hundred good reasons they could be pulled over. Maybe they dropped something, or maybe they had to send a text message. I am wary and watchful as I near the car. Just as I am level with the passenger side door, it swings open.

My heart pounds hard in my chest. I don’t look. I don’t think. I just run. Down the stairs, through the alley, never looking behind me, never slowing down. Praying that a train will pull up to the station at just the right moment.

Hope you enjoy this foray into the world of Anita Blake! What else are you reading? Come back next week for the next book: Bloody Bones!

TMI Tuesday: October 22nd

The author of TMI Tuesday has decided to end her reign, but we have decided to continue on, going back to the archives. We’re going to continue with 2013, and now we’re back on the same date, even (except we’re more than a few weeks behind. Oof.)! So here we are with an archived set of questions.

TMI Tuesday – August 13, 2013

Posted on August 12, 2013 by TMI Tuesday blog

Thank you to swinging gemma from Erotic Adventures blog for this week’s TMI Tuesday questions.

Super!

For those of you who need a super-hero and super-villain database, you’re in luck! There is one: http://www.superherodb.com/characters/

These are definitely better questions for Richard, so I’ll let him (mostly) take this week! ~Jayden

1. When you were a child/teenager who was your favourite superhero and why?

Richard: Spider-Man. I want to say probably just exposure to the cartoon as a kid more than anything. I still like him a lot, though. From a writing standpoint (when done correctly), he has a versatile and entertaining (but not too strong) power set and an interesting personal background/morals.

2. Which supervillain is most like you and why?

Richard: I would like to make Jayden answer this. I’m going to say Arcade. Given the choice, Rube-Goldberg deathtraps would be high on my villain motif list.

Jayden: I don’t know who that is, but I think we’re both big fans of Rube-Goldberg things.

3. If you had a superpower, what would it be, and would you use it for good or evil?

Jayden: Time control, definitely.

Richard: Time control is the best superpower. You could even do evil and then travel back in time to stop yourself to be good if you wanted. (Or cause a disaster but pause time to fix it, etc.)

4. Do you own a superhero costume? When and where was the last time and place that you wore it?

Richard: I have a Batman bathrobe. Umm, around my house like six months ago.

5. Have you ever had a sexual fantasy about a superhero/villain? Tell us about it.

Richard: I’ve jerked it to… a lot of different female superheroes and a more select collection of male ones. I think the ones that’ve gotten the most mileage over the years are Dark Seid corrupting Power Girl, turning her into his sex slave, and using her to conquer the universe, and turning the Sailor Senshi into a harem with thematically relevant kinks.

6. Who do you think is the coolest superhero and why?

Richard: Ghostrider is a demonic motorcyclist who is on fire. It’s physically impossible to be cooler.

Bonus:  You have been granted the wish of having a threesome with one superhero and one supervillain. Which ones do you choose and why?

Richard: Hawkeye (he’s just a favorite, if fucking him gives me an excuse to meet him, I’m down) and Sara Pezzini from Witchblade. She’s hot, and I haven’t put any indie characters on this list.
