I finished America’s First Daughter by Stephanie Dray and Laura Kamoie last week. It was an excellent read! The authors do a great job of bringing characters to life while staying true to the history. Probably my favorite thing about it was that at the end, they go into what they changed from history to fit the story and most of the story was true history. Great historical fiction! I would love to go back and visit Monticello again now that I have explored it through this novel!
