October 6 question – In your writing, where do you draw the line, with either topics or language?

Jayden: My line is much further down than most people’s, I suspect. I’ll write the nastiest, kinkiest sex scenes imaginable. No kids. No animals. I’m sure there are other extreme kinks I’ve never thought about that I wouldn’t write, but I’ll write pretty much anything.
As for language, every once in a while, I think that I can’t put a well placed, “fuck” in my dialogue, and then I realize that I write things about pussies and cocks and sex and “fuck” really isn’t that big of a deal…

Richard: I don’t know that there’s anything I flat out wouldn’t write at all. To Jayden’s point, I wouldn’t write graphic scenes with kids, but I don’t want to rule it out as background in the story as a whole (Jayden’s smut:story ratio is higher than mine though.)

Language, I don’t really care in general. I’m working on middle grade right now, so there’s a bit of a balancing act for that particular piece there. 14 year olds curse a lot, but you’re not supposed to write it.

  1. I am unsure about the correct use of English. I understand what I am reading, but I can only express my thoughts in my mother tongue (language?). I use a translator who also has poor language skills, although he has learned English quite well and is constantly evolving. I’m interested in fetish literature, but I haven’t written anything down on this topic. I’m trying to make my own page on the wordpress site, but I’m struggling with it. I’d rather show someone a start page I like, do it for me, and I’ll fill it with content.
    But I try.

    1. The audience is arbitrary … I know I have to choose a primary target audience. Then a text reviewer … But most of all a helper who puts my page in order here. Then I upgrade to a paid version.
