Chapters 1-20 Recap
Mistress Parker is a professional, full-time Dominatrix. Her client, James (often referred to as pet and sometimes bitch), is into puppy play, among other things. He has trouble orgasming without her control, so she sees him weekly. She’s almost his therapist, in a way. But, at the beginning of our story, James gets accepted to a graduate program in Massachusetts that he’s excited about but sad that he’ll be taken away from her. Before he goes, he makes a point to see Mistress Parker more frequently, and in one of their sessions, things go a bit awry, and he leaves almost abruptly. But when he comes back and surprises her, she takes him in and breaks her number one rule. She never has sex with her clients. Sure, sometimes she’ll push against that line and peg one when the occasion calls for it, but she never lets them get her off or penetrate her in any way. But she does with James. What does that mean? Is he interested in a relationship? Is she? Our story picks up here with James and Mistress Parker in a private room at a restaurant where she wants to talk things out and figure out where they are in their relationship.
