WWW Wednesdays! (On Thursday)

Someone I follow (Jan Matthews) posted it, and while I admit that I’m just now reading blogs from months ago, I thought it was a neat idea, so I tracked down the source (samannelizabeth.wordpress.com)

Three stacked books with Ws on them for WWW Wednesdays.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Current Reads:

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern: This is my all time favorite novel. I actually designed and cross stitched the cover for my office, I love it so much. I recommend it 100 times over.

The Everlasting by Alix E. Harrow: Richard and I are working our way through the Goodreads Spring Challenge, and this one fit the bill for a couple of categories. It’s not what I would typically read, but it’s pretty good so far. I am interested!

Recently Finished

Culpability by Bruce Holsinger: This was really good. I read it in just a couple of days. I couldn’t put it down. By the description, I wasn’t sure I would like it, but I really did! I highly recommend it.

Dead Ice by Laurell K. Hamilton: This was excellent, as always. I love this series. This one was pretty long, and I was up against the library checkout clock, but I made it with a day or two to spare. (But it’s #24 in the series, so don’t start here!)

Coming Up Next

Animal Farm by George Orwell: I need this one for the Goodreads Spring challenge, but more importantly, I’ve never read it. It feels like I should. So I’m putting it on the top of my list when I’m done with The Everlasting.

The South by Tash Aw: If I finish this one and Animal Farm (and the two I’m reading now), I’ll complete the Goodreads Spring Challenge. So, ya know. I’ll work on it.

(Still) Brigands & Breadknives by Travis Baldree: This I have this one on my nightstand. I might pick this one up first depending on when Culpability comes in. 🙂 Culpability came in and I read it already! But this is still top of my night stand. But see, the thing is, I often have one on my e-reader, one audiobook, and one paper book. So I need to finish The Everlasting and Animal Farm before I pick this one up!
