August 5 question – As a writer/author what is something you regret? Or something that you wish you’d done differently in your writing process?

I have self-published a few novels, and I have some regrets about some of the terminology I used. One of them, I actually took off the market because even the title was controversial. It’s one of those things where we learn more and do better, but I wish that I had known better the first time.

  1. Hi,

I understand that very well. Maybe you can rewrite the book after you have thoughtfully thought about terminology that you really want to use and also a new title.

  2. One advantage of self-publishing is there are no filters or limits but that can be a double-edged sword sometimes. Have you thought about editing and republishing your book?
