It’s a good thing we’re almost done because I keep falling more and more behind! Sorry! I hope you’re enjoying the story. I can’t wait to bring it full circle! Just a few more!

Uri Urgast was excited. He could barely admit how excited he was. Unfortunately, his excitement had every potential of going the other way and he wouldn’t know for another 24 hours. He had told his friend Thora Tierse that he needed an answer by the end of the week, which was finally nearing an end. The week had felt like it had taken forever. He had regretted giving her several days to think things through. But, he supposed, if he had rushed her decision, she may have made the wrong decision for herself. As much as he wanted her to say yes, he wanted to make sure she didn’t make a mistake.
Uri and his wife, Vivian Vasil, wanted a 3some. They had been married for many years, even though she hadn’t taken his last name, but his wife was bi and feeling adventurous. For years, he had hidden his love of unicorns. No, not the mystical horned creatures, but the concept of a third in their marriage. A woman, specifically, who was bi. It would be the perfect fit for their relationship.
Unfortunately, Uri was one of many, many men looking for the same thing and when Vivian had first expressed a possible interest, he had no luck finding women online. It seemed that many couples were looking for the same thing and many bi women specifically wrote on their profiles that they did not want to be a “unicorn.” He understood then where the term had come from. Bi women interested in couples was a rare thing, a mystical thing even, like a unicorn. He had spent a few months of frustrating trying to find someone who would be interested but eventually he gave up. Vivian’s desire to find a woman had not been diminished though. She had looked online too, trolling various dating sites but she didn’t have any better luck than he did.
Finally, after many months, it dawned on him that maybe they were going about it the wrong way. Maybe instead of trying to find someone new, they needed to find someone they already knew. He wracked his brain trying to think of female friends who had ever expressed being bisexual. He thought and thought and came up with a few ideas. He had to be very careful though because he didn’t want to go about ruining any friendships. When his thoughts fell on Thora, he wasn’t sure how Vivian would react. Once upon a time, they had been a thing, he and Thora. Many years ago they had had a very short relationship. It was before he even knew Vivian but he wasn’t sure if it would make her feel insecure anyway. He approached Vivian about it carefully but all his worry had been for naught since she thought it was a great idea.
The next day, Uri had struck up a conversation with Thora through Facebook and they had agreed to meet for coffee. The first time he hung out with her, he didn’t say anything about their desire for a unicorn. He was upfront about being married. He had focused on Thora and what had been going on in her life since they had split up. He asked about her relationship status and was thrilled that she wasn’t in a serious relationship, but she was “seeing some people.” That was exactly what he was looking for. The only big question mark was how she felt about 3somes. He knew she had had a girlfriend even before their relationship, so that could be another stumbling block if her interest in girls had been just a phase. He hoped that it hadn’t been.
They hung out again a few times, sometimes alone, sometimes with Vivian. Often, nothing remotely sexual was even discussed. Then a few days ago, when they were alone, the right window opened and he asked her if she would be interested in sleeping with him and his wife. He had been hoping beyond hope that she would say yes and even more so hoping that she would be interested in being a stable part of their relationship. Tomorrow, he would get an answer. Just one more day.
When the phone rang, Uri’s heart jumped into his throat. He looked at the display of his cell phone and saw that it was Thora. He shouldn’t be as nervous as he was, really. It would be fine either way. But he knew that he was really just reassuring himself. He was definitely nervous. Super nervous. He wanted her to say yes. He desperately wanted her to say yes. But he would have to take whatever answer she gave, obviously.
So it was with baited breath that he answered. “Hello?” His tone was questioning, even though he knew who it was. These days, it was almost silly not to answer the phone with “Hi, Thora” (or whoever’s name was on the other end of the line). His thoughts were rambling. He needed to pay better attention to his phone call.
“Hi, Uri,” she sounded happy. Did that mean she was going to say yes?
“How are you?” he asked. He was prolonging the inevitable, but he just felt like coming right out and saying, “So yes or no?” was too much, though it was what he really wanted to do.
“I’m fine,” she said. “And you?”
Anxious as hell. Freaking out. Desperate for you to say yes. “I’m well.”
“That’s good.” Small talk. What the hell. What was she doing to him!? “So listen,” she started and he knew the answer was coming, “I want to talk to you about your…” she hesitated. He realized she didn’t know what to call it. He didn’t really either. Proposition? “…suggestion.”
“Yes?” he prompted her to give him an answer.
“Are you sure it’s what both you and Vivian want?”
“Absolutely.”
“How long did you say you’ve been looking?”
“Months and months. Almost a year, I think.”
“And no luck?”
“No luck.”
“Hm.” Her response was totally noncommittal.
“What’s your hesitation?” he asked, dreading her answer. What if her hesitation was something he couldn’t fix?
“Well,” she paused and he couldn’t believe that his heartbeat couldn’t be heard on the other end of the phone. “I care about you and Viv and I don’t want you guys to make a mistake or do something you’ll regret.”
“I understand, but we’ve talked about it a lot.”
“I know, I just don’t want to be the person who screws up your marriage.”
“Oh no, Thora, that’s not possible. Vivian and I are happier than we’ve ever been. We’re just frustrated with the fact that we haven’t been able to explore this avenue. I’m excited about it. I mean, what guy wouldn’t want to watch his wife with another woman?” Cliche. Damn. She laughed almost uncomfortably and he continued. “You should talk to her, really. She wants to explore her feelings for women and I am happy to help her do that.”
“You won’t be jealous?”
“Jealous?” he said the word like he hadn’t even considered that a possibility, which, he supposed, he really hadn’t. It hadn’t dawned on him that being jealous was a possibility. Why would he be jealous? What did he have to be jealous of? “No, I can’t imagine that,” he replied to the question.
“That’s good.” She paused like she was thinking. “I probably should talk to Viv.”
“You should. She’ll confirm everything I’m saying.” God, he sounded like a cheating husband trying to convince his conquest he wasn’t lying.
“I will, but not because I don’t believe you.” He knew if they were together, she would be sticking her tongue out at him. “I just want to make sure you guys have thought it all through. And most importantly, to me, is that I don’t want to lose our friendship. I would hate for anything to happen that would screw things up between us.”
“Oh, don’t worry, Thora,” he said, “None of us wants that. I’m sure it won’t be an issue. If things get awkward between us, we’ll just have to go back to being friends. I mean, platonic friends or whatever.” He was fumbling his words like an awkward teenager. He rolled his eyes at himself. What was wrong with him?
“I’m glad to hear that, Uri. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very interested. I think Vivian is gorgeous and I…” she stopped herself from saying something, was it about him?
“You what?” he prompted.
“Oh, nothing.” It seemed like she was changing gears on him. “I would like to try it out. I think it could be fun.”
“I agree.”
“Let me talk to Vivian and we’ll set something up.”
“Great,” he said and he hoped he didn’t sound overly enthusiastic.
“I guess I’ll see you soon…” she said.
“Definitely,” he said and they hung up.
More waiting. Damn. He was not happy about having to wait more, but at least he had an answer. Barring any issues with her talking to Vivian (unlikely), she said yes. She said yes. Holy fuck, she said YES!
“Hey sweetie,” Uri said when he walked in the door. Vivian was waiting for him in the living room.
“Hey babe,” she said. “How was your day?”
“Oh it was fine,” he said. “You?”
“It was good.” She paused for a moment and then added, “Thora called me today.”
“Oh yeah? She called me, too.”
“She said that.” Vivian seemed introspective. Uri dropped his bags and went over to his wife.
“What’s up?” he asked, not asking the very generic question, but asking what she was thinking of. They had been together long enough that she was well aware.
“I don’t know,” she said, slowly, not meeting his gaze.
“Are you having second thoughts?” he asked.
“No, I don’t think so. I mean, I get really wet thinking about having a threesome with Thora.” His heart started to pound.
“That’s good,” he said tentatively.
“It scares me sometimes,” she admitted.
“Howso?”
“What if I like it?”
“It’s okay to like it,” he reassured her.
“But I love you.”
“That’s good,” he said, and then added, “I love you, too. Nothing is going to change that. We could have eight gazillion threesomes and I will still love you and find you sexy as hell.”
She met his gaze then and smiled. “Do you really mean it?”
“I do.”
“But how do you know?”
“Really think about it. Do you really think that anyone else could change your feelings for me?”
“No,” she said and she sounded confident and sure of herself.
“So…” he let his voice trail off and he could see a change come over Vivian’s face.
“You’re right. Thank you, Uri.”
He kissed her temple. “I love you. Always and forever, just like we said in our vows. And I think you are the sexiest woman I ever met. I am excited to get to share you with someone else.” He was careful not to compliment Thora too much to Vivian. He did want to make her insecure. He did like Thora. He thought she was cute and she was fun to hang out with and he was sure she would be fun in bed. But that didn’t mean he wanted to leave Vivian for her. He had no desire to leave Vivian at all. He wanted to make sure that he didn’t give her a false impression.
“I love you too,” she said and she turned her face to his and they kissed. He felt the familiar heat their kisses brought, right down to his core. His cock twitched and he had every desire to take her to bed right then. But instead, she broke the kiss and said, “I invited Thora to come over now.”
“Now?”
“Now,” she confirmed. She glanced at the clock behind his head. “Well, I told her six which is in twenty minutes. She should be on her way.”
“You aren’t wasting any time,” Uri teased.
She rolled her eyes at him. “I didn’t see a reason to wait. We were all into it and I didn’t want any of us to change our minds.”
“That was smart,” he admitted. “What do I wear?”
She laughed. “I don’t know! What do I wear?”
“Nothing,” he said and he grinned.
“Do you really think I could do that? Just sit here waiting for her, naked?”
“Sure you could. You should!” he insisted, but his tone was teasing.
“I will if you will,” she said.
“Really?” he asked.
“Yeah,” she shrugged. “Why not?”
“There is no reason why not. Well, it might be hot to watch Thora undress you, but other than that…” he let his voice trail off and with it, his teasing tone diminished as well.
“You think so, huh?” she asked. She was still using a teasing tone.
“Well, yeah, but it would be almost as hot to watch you undress Thora. And I think it would be great to see her face when you open the door for her naked.”
“Who says I have to open the door?” she asked. “Why don’t you open the door?”
“I guess I could,” he replied. He couldn’t tell if she was teasing or not. She was making it hard to tell.
“I was teasing, initially, but the thought as some merit…” she let her voice trail off and then she stood and took her shirt off. He cocked his head to one side with a questioning look. “Well?” she prompted and he shrugged and complied. He tossed his shirt into the middle of the living room floor.
“There,” he said. She tossed her shirt on top and her bra quickly followed. They both kicked off their shoes, getting into it now. He was wearing jeans and boxers and he was slowed down by the belt he had to undo. He decided it would be best to not leave it in the jeans, just in case, so he pulled the belt out and rolled it up, setting it on a side table. Then he tossed the jeans into the crumpled pile.
He watched, wearing only his boxers, as Vivian slipped her pants down over her hips and revealed pale blue polka dotted panties. With his belt delay, she had even slipped her panties off and tossed them on the pile by the time he had his pants off. “You’re falling behind,” she teased. He dropped his boxers and his erection, which had been somewhat disguised by the pants, was now in full view. “Excited?” she asked.
“Yes,” he admitted. “Are you?”
“Yes,” she said. He slipped a finger down between her legs and she was almost dripping already.
“You certainly are,” he said. He slipped his finger deeper and she was just opening her legs for him to have better access when the doorbell rang.
