Interior design is another form of expression for the over 22 crowd. From 18-22, residents live in pre-decorated dorms. They don’t have a lot of choice in décor, but once they are placed into a home with (or without) others, they have more choices. They can choose to paint their walls whatever color(s) they want. They can choose their linens, pillows, bed spreads, and couch and chair covers.

Otherwise, the places are uniform. The same sizes and styles of chairs and couches, the same beds, dressers, closets, kitchen appliances. With limited space for manufacturing, they don’t do a lot of variety in appliances or large items.
