N is for Nuptials #AtoZChallenge

For this year’s A to Z Blog Challenge, Richard and Jayden are worldbuilding! Using Rebekah Loper‘s book The A-Zs of Worldbuilding as a guide, we have teamed up to give descriptions of the world we’re creating, along with snippets of what it’s like to exist in the world. Enjoy!

Background by Jayden for N is for Nuptials:

Well, given that women rule the community, they make the decisions about relationships. The submissive men can certainly ask, but it is entirely at the Domme’s whim to decide if she’ll give a collar to a submissive, and how many men she’ll give a collar to. Then those promises are made via contract in ceremonies where members of the community gather to watch the promises made.

Story by Jayden:

“Mark, make your promises to your Domme,” Charlie said. She was standing at the front of the room, looking at Mark and Denise and officiating their collaring ceremony.

“Yes, Ma’am,” Mark said, turning to Denise. “Mistress Denise, I promise to love, honor, and obey you. I promise to serve you, in any way I can, and to always be available to you and respectful to you.”

Mistress Denise smiled down at Mark, kneeling at her feet. She patted him gently on the head.

“Mistress Denise?” Charlie prompted.

“Mark, I promise to take care of you. I promise to punish you when you get out of line. To make sure that you are a good boy for me.”

“Thank you, Mistress,” he said.

“Can I have the collar, please?” Charlie said, looking to one of her submissives beside her. He brought the leather collar up to her and knelt at her feet. “This collar symbolizes your love and devotion for each other. Mistress Denise’s tag on your collar means that you belong to her. No one can or will touch you without your Mistress’s permission, and in turn, she will provide for you. Do you agree to this arrangement, Mark?”

“Yes, Ma’am.”

“Mistress Denise?”

“Yes,” she replied.

Charlie handed the collar over to Denise, who then placed it around Mark’s neck. She tightened it until it was in just the right position, and then she clicked the padlock shut, ensuring Mark would be in her grasp until she said otherwise.
