TMI Tuesday: October 15th

The author of TMI Tuesday has decided to end her reign, but we have decided to continue on, going back to the archives. We’re going to continue with 2013, and now we’re back on the same date, even (except we’re more than a few weeks behind. Oof.)! So here we are with an archived set of questions.

TMI Tuesday: July 30, 2013

Posted on July 29, 2013 by TMI Tuesday blog

Thank you to John D Stories for TMI Tuesday today. He had this to say about his inspiration for this week’s questions: I was stuck behind a caravan with an interesting thing painted on the back . . .

WILL YOU MARRY ME?

WillYouMarryMe

1. Do you believe in marriage?

Jayden: Yeah, I’ve been married twice.

2. Have you ever proposed marriage or been proposed to marry? What happened?

Jayden: Both. My ex-husband proposed to me in my apartment in college. I’ll let Richard tell the story of when I proposed to him. 😛

Richard: I told Jayden she should propose to me since she already got proposed to. She made a scavenger hunt and I drove to the wrong place.

Jayden: He got it in the end.

3. What would be your dream way of proposing marriage?

Jayden: I did it! It was (almost) perfect!

4. What would be your nightmarish way of proposing marriage?

Jayden: Uhh, if someone said no.

Richard: Spelling it out with flaming penguins dropped from an airplane.

5. Mainstream society has engagement rings; in your opinion, what token should be given to signify engagement?

Jayden: I like my engagement ring, but I didn’t want an expensive diamond.

6. What do you think would have happened to cause someone to have “Will you marry me?” on the back of their caravan?

Jayden: Someone who loves their minivan, maybe?

Bonus: Tell us about someone you would have proposed to but never had the chance/opportunity.

Jayden: Um, I don’t know. I don’t know that I’ve gotten to that point with anyone that I didn’t marry. I’m sure there’s a celebrity I would propose to if I could.
