March 23 – What’s your recipe for recuperating from extreme heartbreak?

Jayden: Time, mostly. But in the interim: baked goods (cake, cookies, etc.), ice cream, mac & cheese,… so–carbs.

Richard: Usually I pick a video game, book series, etc. that I’ve been putting off since I know it’ll be a total time sink, and dive into it.

March 22 – What’s your personal anthem or theme song?

Jayden: It changes at least 2-3 times a year, but currently: If Our Love Is Wrong by Calum Scott.

Richard: I’m going to go with the Space Jam theme. Especially when you mash it up with something else. This one just popped up in my Youtube recommends. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Vyrlj_WmkA Bonus points for having Megalovania in there, which is one of my favorite writing jams.

31 Questions
March 2021

March 21 – What’s something you’ve tried, that you’ll never, ever try again?

Jayden: Oh there have to be things… kinky things even.

Richard: Scalloped potatoes. What a waste of good spuds.

Jayden: Okay so, Richard called me out that this was a cop out of an answer. So… I guess I’ll add onto it. I like to try new things, especially kinky things. I’m trying to remember one that I disliked enough to never, ever do again. There are plenty of things that I don’t love but will do for the right Dom. There are a few things I won’t even try (hello, hard limits!) but it’s pretty rare that I’ll try something and dislike it *that* strongly. So, I guess I have to get away from kink…

I have a food I’ll never try again. Anything rice paper wrapped. It literally makes me gag.

Also, scalloped potatoes are delicious, and apparently I have to cook them for Richard so he can see that. (I legitimately think he’d like them if they were made well.)

Vacation: Part 7

We’re home from our mini-vacation, and wishing we could be somewhere as extravagant and fun as Mark and Ivy. Let’s see what they get up to this week!

Chapter 7:

Sometimes Ivy worried that post-orgasm, her arousal would wane so much that it wouldn’t be sexy anymore. She glanced around at the people in the dark theater, but no one seemed to notice. She took stock of how she was feeling. Her pussy was still clenching, the plastic of the vibrator pressing into her folds. But she was still horny. She wanted more. It was all she could do not to climb on top of Mark’s lap in the theater, but she knew better than to do that.

The rest of the show, she waited, wondering when Stephanos would turn the vibrator back on, but the last notes rang out, the curtain fell, the lights turned on, and they stood up, still clapping. She turned to look at Stephanos and found that a different bartender was behind the bar. She didn’t have long to wonder where he went when she felt a hand on the small of her back. It wasn’t Mark’s hand.

It was Stephanos. His hand pressed into her back as he leaned around her, reaching out to shake Mark’s hand. The smirks on both of their faces made Ivy raise an eyebrow.

“That was fun,” Stephanos said.

“It was,” Mark agreed. “Thanks for lending a hand.”

“Any time.”

A look passed between them that Ivy could see but didn’t understand.

31 Questions
March 2021

March 20 – What’s one mistake you keep repeating (and repeating)?

Jayden: Arguing with a friend. Trying to get them to see things the way they are instead of the way they perceive them to be. It’s like beating my head against a brick wall.

Richard: Eating too late before going to bed. I always feel like garbage.

Jayden: I guess we’ll just have to get you some more pre-sleep exercise, Richard. 😉 It would probably be in bed though.

March 2021

March 19 – What’s in your fridge, right this moment?

Jayden: A lot of things. But one that’s coming to mind is bread pudding! I love bread pudding.

Richard: For the record, that bread pudding isn’t there anymore. We’re filling these out ahead of time. There’s probably milk in there, we’re pretty good about keeping that. Also, eggs. I accidentally bought like 3 dozen, and we don’t go through them that quickly.

31 Questions
March 2021

March 18 – What do you value most: free time, recognition, or money?

Jayden: Free time. I’ve had a lot of times in my life where I was on the go around the clock. It’s very nice to feel productive, but I also value time to relax and do the things I want to do instead of the things I have to do.

Richard: Free time. There was a brief period where I was working 60+ hour weeks. I literally did not have time to spend the money I was making with overtime, and I was miserable. Free time is the hardest to come by, but you can use it to get recognition or money if you want it.

Posture Practice: Part 2

Doms scream, subs scream, we all scream for ice cream.

“Ready for your dessert?” she asked, taking his dishes with hers and walking them to the sink. She paused for a moment, then placed them in using her arms as much as possible and her waist as little as she could.

He stepped into the kitchen, leaning in to whisper against her ear. “I think it’s more of a second course,” she shivered. Which only made her whimper. “We’ll have dessert at home. I think you’ll have earned a treat by then.”

“Yes, Sir. Thank you, Sir,” she said, gratefully accepting his hand on her back as he guided her towards the door. There was a sweatshirt and a pair of loose sweatpants already folded there, which he helped her get into. It didn’t hurt too much.

“You know, your sneakers might be better since they give you support, but getting them on would be hell.”

“I’ll be fine in my sandals, Sir.”

The one block walk to the ice cream shoppe was the biggest challenge yet. Every step sent twinges of pain through one part of her or another. Even with his arm to hold on to, it was hard to keep steady footing across the uneven ground.

“I’ll get it; you just find a good spot for us to eat,” he said. “Teaberry and rainbows?” he asked.

She started to nod her head, gasping before she had tilted it much. “Yes please…”

He walked over to the line while she slid over to a countertop on the side of the building. It looked just the right height… it was! She had to stand up on her toes a bit, but it was worth it to lean in and relieve the pressure. Thank God. She glanced at the stool next to her. It’d hurt to get on, but it might be more comfortable in the long run… And that was when a kid ran by, knocked into the stool, and it hit her hip. She sucked in a long breath, managing not to scream at him and get them kicked out when a dish of ice cream appeared in front of her face a moment later.

“No cone?” she asked, surprised. “I thought you liked watching me eat my ice cream that way.”

“I do,” he said, taking a long, slow lick of his cone. “But I thought this would be easier, and even I only have so much sadism for one night.”

31 Questions
March 2021

March 17 – What are you an expert on? Is it because of training, lived experience, or both?

Jayden: Spreadsheets! Okay, maybe not. I’m really good at them. But I do think I’m an expert at my day job, which I don’t really talk about on here.

Richard: Sourdough! Hint: Use the discard for pancakes with jelly or honey.

Jayden: I can totally vouch for Richard’s Sourdough. Oh my goodness, it’s amazing. I didn’t even particularly like sourdough before I met Richard, and now I lament any time we don’t have it in the house!

31 Questions
March 2021

March 16 – If you could sit down with your 15-year old self, what would you tell him or her?

Jayden: That it’s going to work out okay. No matter what, hang in there, because it will all work out okay.

Richard: That our life is going to be really weird, but mostly in ways that he’ll think is awesome. If possible, I’d have a slideshow of strange things we did, said, etc. with minimal context.

TMI Tuesday: March 16, 2021

Money, Money, Money

1. If you pay someone to do one chore what would it be?

Jayden: Cleaning

Richard: Dishes

2. If I gave you $1,000,000 usd, how much would you give to charity?

Jayden: I’d try to give about 25%.

Richard: I don’t know that I’d give any up front. I think I’d like to find a specific cause that I want to support and try to give them what they needed, as opposed to just throwing an arbitrary number.

3. What is the most annoying thing your (current or past) partner does with money?

Jayden: Not helping with the budget, but complaining that he wasn’t “allowed” to buy things he wanted.

Richard: I dated a girl who had tends of thousands of dollars in the bank, and a similar amount of credit card date. She refused to use her savings to pay down the debt, and just made the minimal payments, racking up interest.

4. What is something you bought as a couple but would be embarrassed for your parents to know?

Both: We haven’t bought very much together yet. Ummm, a fancy laser printer?

5. What money-related thing have you hid from your significant other?

Jayden: I once bought a fair of fuck-me-shoes and didn’t tell my partner.

Richard: For a while I was working a job where I could pretty much set my own hours. I definitely pretended to work most days, but sometimes I just kinda bummed around for most of a week.

Bonus: If you received $1,000,000 right now would you tell people? Why or why not?

Jayden: I would tell as few people as possible, but I’m too open of a person to keep it a secret. I would want to invest it to better my future and telling too many people would make that difficult.

Richard: I’d probably just tell Jayden. Other than that, I’d have to figure out what I was doing with it, etc. I’d probably pretend I got a smaller amount. Enough to celebrate, but not life changing money. I wouldn’t want it to affect my relationships.

31 Questions
March 2021

March 15 – If you could choose your own life obstacles, would you keep the ones you have?

Jayden: : I don’t know. I’m not sure that’s a choice I would want to make. As a submissive, I often dislike making choices, and choosing my own life obstacles seems like a difficult path.

Richard: No, I’m sure I could min-max some optimal obstacles that were minimally inconvenient, if not advantageous somehow.

March 14 – How do you reign in self critical voices?

Jayden:  My own self-critical voices are very difficult to reign in. Having a partner to remind me of my own self-worth is very valuable. I hate to put that on them, but sometimes I forget that I can be good at things.

Richard: 90% of the time, it doesn’t matter if I suck as bad as I think I do anyway.

Vacation: Part 6

Hey everybody, guess what? We’re on vacation! And we’re having almost as much fun as Mark and Ivy!

Mark reached over, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze. “Ready for the show he asked?” with a smirk. As he did, the dancers stepped out from the wings, prompting a round of applause from the audience.”

“Yes, Sir,” Ivy whispered in his ear. Her heart was pounding with excitement that had nothing to do with the dancers or the applause.

A moment later, Mark felt her squeeze his hand as Stephanos cranked the vibrator up all the way. He was clumsy with it at first, ramping it all the way up and down while he got a feel for the app and controls.

She stifled a moan, but barely. It was so sexy. Her whole body trembled.

March 2021

March 13 – How do you engage with panhandlers on the street?

Jayden:   I’m very uncomfortable, in general. I’m a petite woman, so safety is something that’s been ingrained in me, and I did live in a big city for a long time. That said, I have a lot of compassion for people who are down on their luck. One of my most memorable experiences was working with a soup kitchen and helping the homeless.

Richard: I used to usually give to them, but I don’t carry cash/change as often anymore. It makes me feel bad.

31 Questions
March 2021

March 12 – Have you ever unplugged from the Internet for more than a week?

Jayden:   Yes, and I’d love to do it again soon. That’s probably because the only time I’ve done that was when I was on a cruise, and going on a cruise sounds glorious.

Richard:  I haven’t. The closest I’ve ever come was when I worked at a summer camp, but even then it was Sunday afternoon to Saturday morning. At this point, I don’t think I could do it with work, we were 90% or more online even pre-Covid. And how would I get you all smut without the internet? I guess I could write everything offline, then make Jayden post it.

Posture Practice: Part 1

Hey everybody! Richard here with your weekly solo story. This one’s a two parter, so make sure you stop back next week!

“Excited to see what you got those for?” he asked.

“I don’t need a reason to follow orders, but I am curious, Sir,” she said, reaching down to tweak her nipple ring and shivering a little, then repeating it with her hood piercing. “You kept me in suspense until they healed. It was very hard to be patient for six months, but I tried to be good for you.”

“Mmmhmmm,” he said, opening their toy chest and pulling out lube, an anal hook, hairbrush, and some thin chain.

She craned her neck to watch what he was doing, “Oooh, looks like a fun night.”

31 Questions
March 2021

March 11 – Have you ever stolen anything? (Money, candy, hearts, time?)

Jayden:  I have. One time, my friends were shoplifting cheap little things at the mall and I dropped one in a bag. I felt horrible about it! It was probably a $2 item at a crappy mall store, but I still felt bad. I also one time stole a reusable bag from a grocery store. I forget why but I was in a super hurry and the bag I grabbed had no tag on it. I ended up just walking out with it, and then I went back another time and paid for it. No one ever would have noticed, but it bothered me.

Richard: I accidentally stole a bottle of milk from the student union when I was in college. My hands were full and I slid it in my jacket pocket. I planned to take it out when I got to the register, but I got distracted and forgot. I didn’t realize until I was in class, and I never went back.

31 Questions
March 2021

March 10 – Have you ever been genuinely afraid for your physical safety?

Jayden: Yes. And I have often thought of it as the beginning of a great rape story, though this wouldn’t have been consensual non-consent, so the fear was VERY real! I was going to give you a bonus story today, but I decided to save it for April’s A to Z Challenge!

Richard: A few years ago, I slipped in the shower. All I could think about while I was falling (which felt like it took like two minutes) was a girl I went to college with who broke her neck the same way. Luckily, I landed on my badonkadonk, and it absorbed most of the blow with minimal issues.
